Restock, launched in 2020, is India’s first sneaker exchange platform catering to buyers and resellers of authentic limited-edition sneakers. Filling a major gap in the Indian market where trusted platforms were missing, it solved issues of authenticity and secure transactions. Its arrival created a significant shift in the sneaker culture, driving trust, accessibility, and growth in the resale market.

From Quarantine Idea
to Market Disruptor.
Working in design, I have always believed in creating impact by solving user problems, making visual information more accessible, understandable, and as effortless as possible, while ensuring users connect with the design in an organic and meaningful way.
Problems faced in sneaker shopping.
While trying to buy sneakers, many found no reliable online marketplace in India for limited editions, often relying on friends traveling from places like London or the USA to source them.

After conducting thorough market research, competitive analysis, and talking to users, especially resellers and buyers, I gathered detailed information about the industry to uncover insights and identify the root causes of user pain points.

Based on the insights gained and the pain points identified, my team and I began developing the product from scratch, starting with clearly defining and assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure an efficient workflow.
